Prompt: “Exclamation(s)”

“Like a classic millennial, i constantly use the iphones “voice to text” feature when trying to quickly respond to friends and family over text message. One constant issue (which is mine and not technologies fault) is that i cannot for the life of me say “exclamation point”. I stutter and slur every time i say it. 9/10 it comes out at “explanation point”, which will inevitably be sent out and read like this in message form.

Andrew: “See you soon explanation point.”

With this little animation i tried to convey a few things. mostly the fleeting feeling of an exclamation, but also to emphasize that an exclamation can be used in both good and bad scenarios.”

“One should never use exclamation marks... It is like laughing at your own joke.”
