“This is not my usual medium of choice, but lately I have started to experiment using 3D for art.

The masks represent the forced feelings we sometimes have to wear in our everyday life.

I did run out of time completely.”

“This prompt resonated with me deeply, as I'm going through some pretty major changes right now, both good and bad. Sometimes when huge things happen to us, it's hard to even feel what we think we ought to be feeling. We either feel something completely different, perhaps something we think we shouldn't feel, or the "appropriate" feeling is there, but it's locked away for the moment and we just can't access it, even though we try. I thought a lot about how we try to force ourselves to feel things sometimes, especially in traumatic or life-altering periods. It's disorienting to be searching in ourselves for something real that we know we want to feel and to come up with a forced feeling, a counterfeit. This was the visual representation of that process that popped into my head and I went with it.”
