“I draw every day, but my drawings rarely have a concrete endpoint. They remain abstract, blending organic and geometric shapes. This time, I let the prompt guide both my drawing and my process. I decided to cut out my piece—freeing it from the pages of my sketchbook and placing it into the world like any other creature. Now, it exists freely, just as any critter, creature, or creation should.”
